We met the competent authority in Prime Ministers Office,on 2/11/2011, who is in charge of our I&B ministry and we discussed our long pending wage anomaly issue in detail and submitted our Representation along with the copy of the recent order of Honble CAT ,Ernakulam Bench ,in which a Direction is issued, by the Tribunal to the Secretary,Ministry of I&B to place our views on committee of joint secretaries report ,before the Group of Ministers for taking a final decision in our wage anomaly issue.We also met our DG:Doordarshan on 2/11/2011and the Joint Secretary smt.supriya sahu on 3/11/2011,and discussed our pay parity issue along with the Recent order of Honble CAT ,Ernakulam and persuaded them to settle our issue at the earliest. The concerned officers we met assured their cooperation and support for our genuine cause. It is also learned from a reliable source that the GOM meeting on Prasar Bharati will be convened shortly and our Pay Parity issue will be settled soon.
