GOM ON PRASAR BHARATI RECONSTITUTED : NEW GOM MEETING SOON

The GOM  on Prasar Bharati have been reconstituted on 7/11/2012.Three new Ministers have been inducted in the new GOM.The President of the FDCP met our Honble Minister for I&B shri.Manish Tewari on 22/11/2012 in the Ministry and requested to settle the long pending wage anomaly issue at the earliest and the Minister gave us a very positive response..The same matter was also taken up by the president with other competent authorities in the Ministry of I&B.The Federation president during his New delhi visit also met shri.A.K.Antony.Honble Defence Minister,shri.Kodikunnil Suresh,Honble Mos for Labour&Employment,Dr.Pallam Raju,Honble HRD Minister and Dr.Shashi Tharoor,Honble Mos for HRD and Persuaded to take up our wage anomaly issue with our Honble Minister for speedy implementation.From Reliable sources from the Ministry we came to know that the new GOM Meeting will be held soon to resolve our long pending Wage anomaly issue.Further Updates in the above matter will be mailed to all unit secretaries of  FDCP. as and when we get the information from our Ministry of I&B.

COJS MEETING CONCLUDED ON 31/07/2012

The COJS (Committee of 4  Joint Secretaries ,comprising of one each from Ministry of  I&B, Ministry of Expenditure, Ministry of Law and from Ministry of Personnel)formed by the Ministry of I&B,under the directions of the GOM on Prasar Bharati to look in to the wage anomaly existing in Prasar Bharati,have finally concluded their meeting on 31/7/2012.The Report of the meeting is being made ready by the concerned section of our ministry and very soon it will be submitted to the GOM for final approval..All Unit Secretaries are requested to open their Mail  Box for further details and updates.

FEDERATION PRESIDENT MEETS HONBLE MINISTER OF I&B AT NEWDELHI

  We Met Our Honble Minister for I&B smt.Ambika Soni on 7-2-2012 at her chamber and Discussed our Wage anomaly  issue in detail along with our Honble CAT ,Ernakulam Bench Verdict.Shri.Uday Kumar Varma ,Secratary,I&B and Shri.Ranjan Prakash Thakur,PS to Honble MIB also attended the Meeting.Honble Minister not only heared our Pay Parity Issue with patience but also issued appropriate directions to the competent authorities for speedy redressal  of our long pending Wage anomaly issue,which we are fighting from the year 2000 onwards.

        The meeting concluded with a decision to convene  the COJS  meeting and the GOM on Prasar Bharati at the earliest ,so that our long pending wage anomaly issue will come to a successful end.Meantime the Prime Minister"s office also referred our case to the Ministry of I&B for early settlement.
