of FDCP :We have won the long fought battle for upgradation of pay with
similarly situated Cadres of Doordarshan.The Honble CAT , Ernakulam
allowed our case in our favour and delivered it's order today to the
Respondents to issue necessary wage revision order w.e.f 1-1-1996 and by notionalising the pay from 1-1-1978,
retrospectively as done in other 11 categories of employees.The Honble CAT,Ernakulam has set aside the earlier Speaking order issued by the Ministry of I &B and asked the Respondents to issue the necessary orders of wage revision within a period of 3 months. Our
Professional categories ,which includes Cameramen, Video editors,
Graphic Artists , Edit Supervisors and Graphic Supervisors will be
benefited. Recently some of our friends have left from our Federation,
which was very unfortunate. We are preparing a list of our Active FDCP
members and the same will be submitted to the competent authorities
along with our judgement copy for compliance.The federation ,will be
recommending only for our members and will see to it that the order will
be implemented within the stipulated time frame , mentioned in the
HonbleTribunal's order. We are expecting the judgements for Cameraman
Grade pay case of GP 5400 in PB 3 and Federation recognition case in
the coming days. The Federation is taking atmost care of the pending
cases also in the Right Spirit and We are trying for early posting of
the litigations. We pray for the co-operation and support of all
members of FDCP. Those who are interested in wage hike, can contact us and the executive committee of the Federation will consider those cases with proper application of mind and their names will be included in the final list, which will be submitted to the competent authorities for upgradation of pay.
