Uday Verma appointed as new Secretary, I&B

As reported earlier in our FDCP site, Uday Kumar Verma IAS MP:1976 till recently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises has been appointed as new Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in place of Raghu Menon who demitted office last month on reaching the age of superannuation 
Since then the post was held as additional charge by Jawhar Sircar.

Uday K Verma to be crowned as new Secretary, I&B

Another coveted posting which had all eyes riveted is now more or less final.
 It will be shri. Uday Kumar Varma IAS MP:1976 presently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises who will now move to Shastri Bhawan as the new Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
shri. Uday Verma will replace Raghu Menon who demitted office as Secretary, I&B last month. Since then the post was held as additional charge by Jawhar Sircar.
 It may also be mentioned that FDCP had hinted that Uday Verma would soon wear the crown in Information Ministry on 15/9/2011.

SUPRIYA SAHU ELEVATED AS JOINT SECRETARY , I&B

Supriya Sahu IAS TN:1991 presently serving as Director Broadcasting, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has been elevated and appointed as JS in the same ministry, sources have confirmed.
 She would replace Arvind Kumar IAS UP:1988 who appointed as new CVO of National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) under the Ministry of Urban Development
